Kenadie came out a beautiful bundle of joy. The only issue she had was some bruising to her head from the trauma of labor. This in turn caused her to get some jaundice. Since we left the hospital we have been having to go to the doctors each day to monitor her bilirubin levels. Unfortunately on Monday it was so elevated they decided she needed the bill lights/phototherapy. She almost had to get re admitted to the hospital but thankfully we are able to do the phototherapy at the house. She has to stay in the bill lights 24/7 and she is only to come out for feedings and diaper changes. Its really hard to not cuddle and snuggle her but we know the more she is under the lights the faster she will get better. We go back to the doctors tomorrow and hopefully Kenadie will be able to stop the phototherapy. We are keeping our fingers crossed for good news!!
